Warranty

 

All of our products are tested extensively here in Snowdonia to make sure that they live up to our high expectations and the high demands of our customers.

 

Our warranty covers all manufacturing faults of the fabrics, parts and workmanship for a 2 year period from the date of purchase. This warranty covers the functionality of the product for its normal, intended use. It does not cover malfunction of any fabric or component that has resulted from improper or unreasonable use or maintenance, accidents or natural degradation due to sunlight.

 

No consequential loss may be claimed under this guarantee. This guarantee in no way affects your statutory rights.

 

If you believe your product is a warranty claim, please contact the retailer from whom you purchased the product. They will advise you of the most approppriate action to take.

 

The warranty applies to the original owner and is valid for the duration of the expected lifetime of the product. In th event of a warranty claim yout faulty item will be repaired if possible or exchanged. We reserve the right to substitute any faulty item with the closest equivalent based on stock availability.

Warranty claims

 

All warranty claims must be made to the retailer where the product was purchased and they will advise you on the most appropriate course of action.

 

 

As a guideline the following damage is not covered by our warranty:

 

- General wear and tear due to extended over use or inappropriate use.

- Damage caused to fabrics due to abrasion, punctures or excessive wear

- Broken buckles due to improper use. I.e. closed in car doors

- Broken zips due to forcing, jamming or over stretching / stuffing causing the zips to split.

- Split seams due to overloading the backpack

- Sun damage due to UV exposure

- Damage caused during travel, i.e. during check in / storage on a flight. All packs should be transported in a suitable cover when travelling.

- Water damage through seams. Our packs are not waterproof and suitable liner or raincover should be used.

Returns advice

 

The below information is a guideline only as many retailers offer different return policies. You should always contact the retailer first as your sales contract is with the retailer and not the manufacturer.

 

 

14 day returns period:

 

If you purchased one of our products online, under distance selling regulations you have a 14-day period to return it to the retailer in an unused condition for a full refund.

 

 

30 day right to refusal:

 

If you believe your purchase is faulty, poor quality, not fit for purpose or as described, you have a 30-day period from the date of purchase to return it to the retailer for a full refund.

 

 

Outside the 30 day refusal period:

 

If your purchase develops a fault between 30 days and 6 months from the date of purchase then you are entitled to return it to the retailer to be repaired, replaced or exchanged. The retailer is entitled to repair or replace the product once, however if the repair is unsuccessful, the repair is of unsatisfactory standard or the first replacement is also defective then you are entitled to either a full refund, a partial refund or a price reduction if you wish to keep the product.

 

 

After 6 months:

 

If your product develops a fault after the 6-month period, you should contact the retailer to discuss the problem who will either repair, or exchange it or ship it back to us to inspect the fault.

The retailer will arrange this for you and should keep you up to date with your warranty claim. If you are unsure of the status of your retrun, please contact the retailer first, if they are unusure please contact us directly. When we receive your warranty claim, If we find that the product is in fact faulty, we will repair it or replace it as per our warranty terms and conditions and ship it back to you directly.
